William Christie is an author and has written nine published novels. His most recent novel is titled, A Single Spy, which he discussed on air. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and was formerly a Marine Corps infantry officer. 

Gary Lewis

You may know singer Gary Lewis from his rock n' roll group, Gary Lewis and the Playboys and his father is popular comedian Jerry Lewis. Cash Box Magazine named Lewis their "Male Vocalist of the Year" in 1965. He discussed his long career Jim on the air.

George Sells

Veteran anchorman George Sells, came on to talk about his take on the downfall of Bill O'Reilly. Sells is a former WAFB anchorman and retired in 2012; he was born in Kingsport, TN and joined WAFB in 1988. 

04/24 Monday: The Removal of Confederate Monuments, Albert Samuels, Jeff Sadow

Hour 1: 

Billy Nungesser

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser chats with Jim about tourism in Louisiana and the early morning removal of the Liberty Place monument, one of four Confederate Monuments set to be removed in New Orleans. Nungesser also comments on how the state's budget problems are affecting the tourism industry. 

Albert Samuels 

Southern University Political Science Professor Dr. Albert Samuels joins the conversation to discuss the mayor of Baton Rouge, Sharon Weston-Broome. Broome's former Chief Administrative Officer Troy Bell resigned after a report found out he lied on is resume.  He also comments on the removal of the Confederate monuments in New Orleans.

Blogger Lamar White and political consultant Ali Akbar discuss Trump's 13 weeks in office and the feud between Governor John Bel Edwards and Congressman Garret Graves. Ali Akbar represents the right  and Lamar White for the left.

Author Melissa de la Cruz is New York Times best-selling author. She has authored a plethora of young adult novels and her latest book explores the romance between Alexander Hamilton and Eliza Schuyle. The book is titled, Alex & Eliza.

The president of Grambling State University Rick Gallot treated the show to an interview today. He discussed what is happening these days at Grambling, like enrollment, sports and more.
