04/24 Monday: The Removal of Confederate Monuments, Albert Samuels, Jeff Sadow

Hour 1: 

Billy Nungesser

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser chats with Jim about tourism in Louisiana and the early morning removal of the Liberty Place monument, one of four Confederate Monuments set to be removed in New Orleans. Nungesser also comments on how the state's budget problems are affecting the tourism industry. 

Albert Samuels 

Southern University Political Science Professor Dr. Albert Samuels joins the conversation to discuss the mayor of Baton Rouge, Sharon Weston-Broome. Broome's former Chief Administrative Officer Troy Bell resigned after a report found out he lied on is resume.  He also comments on the removal of the Confederate monuments in New Orleans.
