Gottwald is the producer of the new film, Pattie Cakes.  The film will be featured in the Louisiana International Film Festival at Perkins Rowe, Thursday April 20th.

Paul Rainwater

Paul W. Rainwater serves as a senior consultant to Cornerstone. Prior to his work at Cornerstone, Paul most recently held the title as Governor Jindal’s Chief of Staff. Rainwater joins the show to talk about working with 3 governors and catastrophes including Deepwater Horizon, Hurricane's Rita and Katrina.

Richard Condon

Richard Condon joins the show to talk about numerous topics.  Condon recalls how he met his wife, how he got into radio, his favorite LSU sports stories and how his humor has changed over time.

Jim Henderson

Jim Henderson is the current UL system president; he became president at UL after leaving his presidential posit at Northwestern State University. Henderson mainly discussed education and how to better Louisiana as a state.

Clarence Fountain

Clarence Fountain is a member of the 5 time Grammy Award-winning gospel group, The Blind Boys of Alabama. He discussed with Jim his the group and his upcoming documentary. The documentary is titled, The Book of Clarence. 

Hour Two

Dan Borne

Dan Borne joined the show to discuss his life and career. You might recognize his voice from announcing LSU football games as the voice of Death Valley. Borne received his Master's from Louisiana State University in the Manship School.

Cam Harris

Cameron Harris created a fake news story during the 2016 presidential election regarding ‘Tens of thousands’ of fraudulent Clinton votes found in Ohio warehouse. Harris describes his life during the life of his story and his life afterwards.

HOUR TWO

Deb Trombley

At the National Safety Council, Trombley works on influencing change in behavior and policies to reduce motor vehicle crashes. Deborah has worked on cell phone distracted driving, teen driving and Graduated Driver Licensing, alcohol-impaired driving, child passenger safety including serving as Secretariat of the National Child Passenger Safety Board, and employer policies.

Tom Aswell

Tom Aswell of Louisiana Voice joins the show to discuss Donald Trump and his decisions when dealing with Korea and Russia.  Aswell also comments on the recent news about the Louisiana troopers under investigation for Las Vegas excursion.

Mark Ballard

Mark Ballard, of the Advocate, joins Jim to discuss the first week of the legislative session. Ballard comments on Governor John Bel Edwards' proposed tax plan and how lawmakers are responding. He mentions the gasoline tax and a flat income tax. 

Melissa Eastin

Melissa Eastin with the East Baton Rouge Parish Library chats with Jim about the library's Operation Photo Rescue. The event takes place at the Goodwood Library Branch on April 21st and 22nd. Former Dean of the School of Continuing Studies and Summer School at Tulane University, Richard Marksbury, chats with Jim about the controversy regarding the removal of Confederate monuments in New Orleans. 

Susan Jackson

Former LSU Gymnast Susan Jackson joins Jim in studio to talk about the NCAA National Championships. #2 ranked LSU is currently in St. Louis for the competition. The Tigers were runner-ups last year as the Oklahoma Sooners took home the title of champions.

Tyrus Thomas & TaRhonda Bazille

Former LSU and NBA star Tyrus Thomas and film director TaRhonda Bazille join Jim in studio to discuss their film, which will premier at the Louisiana International Film Festival, The Ryan Francis Story. Ryan Francis was a Baton Rouge native visiting home for Mother's Day from USC, where he played basketball, when he was shot and killed on May 13, 2006. 

Rep. Edmond Jordan & Rep. Edmond Jordan

Baton Rouge Rep. Edmond Jordan and Executive Director of the Celtic Media Centre Patrick Mulhearn chat with Jim about the film industry in Louisiana and the struggles the film tax credits face during the legislative session. Mulhearn emphasizes how many jobs the film industry creates in the Bayou State. A report finds the film tax incentive causes a significant hit to the state's budget. Mulhearn is leaving his position at Celtic in June after 8 years.
