Zack Kopplin

Kopplin broke a story about Damarcus Alexander, the cousin of slain officer Montrell Jackson.  Kopplin also is apart of an organization to re-launch campaign to repeal Louisiana's Creationism Law.   

John Geiger

John Geiger is a bouncer at the Crazy Horse Cabaret in Port Allen. The governor signed legislation raising the dancers' minimum age from 18, that bill went into effect August 1. Geiger gives his opinion on the new law.

Elliot Stonecipher

Stonecipher is a pollster from Shreveport, LA.  He joins the show and talks the accuracy of polling, voter turnouts, election of 2016 and the Senate race. Stonecipher also remembers Jim Leslie's murder 40 years ago.

Ted Rall's book about Donald Trump, Trump: A Graphic Biography explores the little-known episodes that helped form the man who shocked the U.S. media by launching the hostile takeover of the Republican Party. He talks about Trump's cartoonish mannerisms and feels that Trump will win the election.

HOUR TWO

Roger Villere

The Chairman of LA GOP joins the show in the beginning of the second hour to analyze both conventions over the past two weeks.  Villere projects Trump to win the state and the country.

Susan Nelson

Former Communications Director for the LA Democratic Party, Nelson joins the show in the final hour to talk about the Democratic Convention in comparison to the Republican Convention.

Fish is a professor of humanities and law at Florida International University, in Miami.  His recent piece in The New York Times argues that college professors should keep their opinions about politics to themselves.  Fish feels that while on university time, professors should be restricted to discuss scholarly topics.

Ali Akbar & Dan Moldea

Political activist Ali Akbar is not a fan of Hillary Clinton. Investigative journalist Dan Moldea is a fan.  Akbar and Moldea debate over which presidential candidate they feel would make a better president.

Dr. Ernest Johnson

President of the NAACP in Louisiana comments on the recent shootings and police brutality since Alton Sterling. 

Melissa Flournoy & Elbert Guillory

Former lawmaker Melissa Flournoy and former member of U.S. Senate Elbert Guillory agree that at both conventions, certain issues should be addressed rather than political mudslinging.  However, they do not agree on which candidate should win the presidency.

Former congressman, Billy Tauzin joins Jim in the first hour of the show to discuss the two presidential candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. 

Dr. Charles Boustany & Mike Strain

Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain has endorsed Congressman Charles Boustany. They both join the show to announce the endorsement; Mike Strain explains his reasoning for the endorsement and Boustany talks about his plans if elected.

Former Gov. of Minnesota Ventura is a friend of Donald Trump, however he is not voting for him this election.  Ventura gives his opinions about the presidency and a lot of the issues our country is facing. Ventura also touches on his book, "Sh*t Politicians Say."

Author and public relations specialist joins the show to discuss Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.  Weill addresses the rumors of Russia hacking into Hillary's e-mails.

Ben Bagert

As a previous Senate candidate, Bagert joins the show and discusses David Duke's decision to run for Senate.  He also expands on Hillary Clinton and the email scandal.
