Hour One 

Bodi white and Phil Preis

Bodi White is a current Republican member of the Louisiana State Senate and is a candidate for mayor-president in Baton Rouge; He was joined by a supporter of his, Phil Preis. White is a Baton Rouge native and a Southeastern Louisiana University alum. He attended Loyola for graduate school and has six years of experience with law enforcement. 

Charles Boustany 

Dr. Charles Boustany is a retired physician and a Republican candidate for the Louisiana State Senate in 2016. He is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and has served as a US Representative for Louisiana's 3rd congressional district since 2013.

Hour Two

Steve Barnes

Steve Barnes is a well known journalist in the state of Arkansas and has been on air since 1968. He got his start as a copy boy in Little Rock for KTHV-TV and went on to have work published in the New York Times and received the University of Arkansas journalist of the year award. 

Ken Perret 

Ken Perret is a candidate for the District 9 seat for the Metro Council of Baton Rouge. He is an engineer with experience in the federal and state highway departments. He received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He joined The Jim Engster Show to discuss his candidacy and more.
