8/27 Thursday: Gubernatorial Election, Gubernatorial Q&A, Remembering Hurricane Katrina, LBJ, and Insurance Commissioner Jim Donnelon

HOUR ONE: 

Bob Mann

Robert Mann is a journalist and political historian and currently holds the Manship Chair in Journalism at the Manship School of Mass Communication at LSU.  He is also the author of several books including, Daisy Petals and Mushroom Clouds: LBJ, Barry Goldwater and the Ad that Changed American Politics.  Mann will discuss the Gubernatorial election and remember the legacy of LBJ on the 107th Birthday of the former US President.  He will also remember Hurricane Katrina as this week marks the 10th anniversary since the storm.  

HOUR TWO: 

Jim Donelon

Prior to becoming Insurance Commissioner, Jim Donelon served as Chief Deputy Commissioner and Executive Counsel of the Louisiana Department of Insurance.  Donelon shares his plan for reelection and also remember Hurricane Katrina and its impact on Louisiana.
