Mathematician Susan Murphy is a professor at the University of Michigan chats with Jim about how she got her love for math at East Ascension High School. She says math is like a different language to help organize thoughts in different ways. She also attended LSU.

Murphy now uses data analytic methods to aid in decisions in health care.

McLain says MLB pitches make more now than he made in his entire 10 year career. 

John Wirt

The Advocate's John Wirt chats about the recent Lafayette movie theater shooting and increased security at theaters. 

Wirt comments on why he loves the movies and being a critic, attends them frequently. He talks about policy and how other countries do not have the sort of gun violence like American.

Wirt gives his opinions on several different movies out in theater now. He says he didn't like Trainwreck, even though it got great reviews.
