12/09 Wednesday: "Approaching Ali" Author Davis Miller, Donald Trump Deporting Muslims, and Gumbo Pac Trey Ourso

HOUR ONE:

Davis Miller is the author of international bestsellers including The Tao of Muhammad Ali: A Fathers and Sons Memoir and Tao of Bruce Lee: My Martial Arts Memoir.  He is also the co-librettist of a chamber opera that is based on his transformed-by-Ali stories. He is at work on a harrowing yet comic memoir about having been recently kidnapped in China and on an obsessive modern love novel.  Today he shares his latest book, Approaching Ali. "I think he saved me from what might have been an otherwise, bad, miserable existence."

Darrell White

Judge Darrell White is the founder and president of the Retired Judges of America.  In light of GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump's recent statements on deporting all Muslims and banning them further entry to America, Ourso speculates the constitutionality of such a statement should Trump win the presidency.

HOUR TWO:

Trey Ourso

Trey Ourso is the former executive director of the Louisiana Democratic Party.  He is the director of the Gumbo PAC.  Gumbo PAC is a non-partisan clearinghouse of information focused on educating Louisiana voters about U.S. Senator David Vitter's disgraceful public record.  He discusses the improbable win of now Governor-Elect John Bel Edwards.
