Mike Edmonson
Superintendent of the Louisiana State Police Col. Mike Edmonson joins Jim in studio to discuss the death of the 6-year-old boy in Marksville, shot by city marshals. The bond has been set for $1 million dollars for both officers charged in the shooting. Edmonson urges anyone with information on the case to come forward to State Police.
Edmonson recalls his years working for State Police and the memories he's made. He comments on the letters from the Office of Motor Vehicles to drivers with a lapse in their insurance.

Ed Chervenak
University of New Orleans Pollster Dr. Ed Chervenak discusses their latest poll in the gubernatorial election, which finds Democrat John Bel Edwards having a 22 point lead over Republican David Vitter.
Chervenak says many voters are disappointed in the direction of the state and highly disapprove of Governor Bobby Jindal. The poll also finds Republican Billy Nungesser with a significant lead over Democrat Kip Holden in the Lt. Governor's race.
