10/26 Monday: Gubernatorial Runoff, Bayou Magic, and Louisiana Politics

HOUR ONE: 

Don Cazayoux 

Don Cazayoux is a former U.S. Attorney, congressman and state representative.  He comments on the results of the elections this past weekend.  Cazayoux also discusses the dynamics of the Gubernatorial runoff and the Lt. Governor election on November 21st.  He also briefly comments on the 'spygate' issue surrounding Senator Vitter. 

Daniel Martiny 

Daniel Martiny is a Louisiana senator for District 10.  He comments further on the results of the Gubernatorial election on Saturday.  Martiny also gives his opinion on the spygate matter regarding Senator Vitter. 

Jewell Parker Rhodes

Jewell Parker Rhodes is the award-winning author of Voodoo Dreams, Magic City, Douglass’ Women, Season, Moon, Hurricane, and the children’s book, Ninth Ward. Her writing guides include: Free Within Ourselves: Fiction Lessons for Black Authors and The African American Guide to Writing and Publishing Nonfiction. Jewell is the Virginia G. Piper Chair in Creative Writing and Artistic Director of Piper Global Engagement at Arizona State University.

HOUR TWO: 

Dayne Sherman

Dayne Sherman is a writer, speaker, professor, editor, and librarian.  He is the author of Zion and Welcome to the Fallen Paradise.  Sherman discusses the results of the election on Saturday.   

Scott Wilfong

Scott Wilfong is a Republican political consultant.  He discusses the election results from Saturday with Dayne Sherman.
