Former LSU Gymnast Susan Jackson joins Jim in studio to talk about the NCAA National Championships. #2 ranked LSU is currently in St. Louis for the competition. The Tigers were runner-ups last year as the Oklahoma Sooners took home the title of champions.

Former LSU and NBA star Tyrus Thomas and film director TaRhonda Bazille join Jim in studio to discuss their film, which will premier at the Louisiana International Film Festival, The Ryan Francis Story. Ryan Francis was a Baton Rouge native visiting home for Mother's Day from USC, where he played basketball, when he was shot and killed on May 13, 2006.

Baton Rouge Rep. Edmond Jordan and Executive Director of the Celtic Media Centre Patrick Mulhearn chat with Jim about the film industry in Louisiana and the struggles the film tax credits face during the legislative session. Mulhearn emphasizes how many jobs the film industry creates in the Bayou State. A report finds the film tax incentive causes a significant hit to the state's budget. Mulhearn is leaving his position at Celtic in June after 8 years.

Jay Dardenne is the former Lieutenant Governor of Louisiana and Louisiana Secretary of State. He ran for governor and lost but elected governor John Bel Edwards announced that he would become the commissioner of administration. Dardenne discussed new tax plan, gas tax and more.

Dr. Wacasey is a physician in Dallas, Tx and tackled issues with healthcare on air. He is taking on insurance companies and mandated healthcare and how people can take back control of their  healthcare and insurance.

Sheldon Hirsch joined as the second guest and not only is he a doctor but an author. He latest book is Hot Hands, Draft Hype, and DiMaggio's Streak: Debunking America's Favorite Sports Myths, which he discussed on the show. He also the other of another sports novel. 

Mark Ballard

Mark Ballard returns to give his take on the Governor John Bel Edwards and his trip to Washington about flood relief in Louisiana. 

Jason Allen

Jason Allen came in studio on behalf of the International Film Festival. The festival will take place at Perkins Rowe from April 20-23.

Louisiana Policy Institute for Children director Melanie Bronfin, came on the air to advocate for more money to be invested in early childhood care. 

Kristen White

Kristen White is a 21 year old senior at LSU and on the executive board for the Minority Women's Movement. She came on to talk about TOPS, Alton Sterling and offer a young perspective on the world today.
