William Taylor

Saints historian William Taylor was on air with Jim to remember the first regular season game for the Saints. The anniversary of the game is September 17, 1967. This photo is of John Gilliam making a play during the game.

Mark Calvit

Mark Calvit is the executive director of Southside Gardens Retirement and Assisted Living. Calvit came in studio to talk more about his business, LSU football and other various topics.

Paul Arrigo

Paul Arrigo is the head of Visit Baton Rouge. Arrigo was here to chat with Jim about many things including the anniversary of the first football game for the New Orleans Saints and how he attended the game as a young man.

William Taylor

The former meteorologist considers himself somewhat of a Saints superfan.  Taylor talks about the Saints being out of the playoffs and mentions the former Voice of the Tigers, John Ferguson.

Dr. Ron Faucheux is President of Clarus Research Group, a full-service research and polling company based in Washington DC. Faucheux joins the show to discuss the importance or relevance.

Aisha Dottory

Aisha Dottory is a corporate event planner and her father, Ronnie Dottory, is diagnosed with Alzheimers.  Dottory tells the story of how they found her father in another state by use of social media.

Greenwood primarily works in the areas of strategic and business planning, technology commercialization, business process analysis, and financial analysis and modeling.  He joins the show to talk about small business claims--aiding small business owners who have been affected by the recent flooding.

Gus Weill

Political consultant and journalist, Weill joins Jim in the second half of our first hour to discuss Hillary Clinton's recent health scare and how it affects the Presidential race.

Eric Skrmetta

Louisiana Public Service Commissioner from District One joins the show to discuss Hillary Clinton's health and how the election has taken a turn since Donald Trump's visit to Louisiana.

William Taylor

Poet Laureate of Louisiana Ava Haymon comments on the upcoming Celebration of Literary Arts in St. Francisville.  

Author Moira Crone joins the show to discuss her book.  She will also be in attendance of the St. Francisville Celebration of Literary Arts.  She shares her opinion on what drives writers.  

Photographer Richard Sexton will also be attending the Celebration of Literary Arts in St. Francisville.  He shares his perspective on the culture of New Orleans and Latin America and discusses his book.  

LSU Professor of Mass Communications Jensen Moore comments on the Superbowl commercials.  Every 30 seconds of commercial during the Super Bowl costs 4.5 million dollars.  111.5 million people watched the 2015 Super Bowl.  The Budweiser 'lost dog' commercial is at the top of the Super Bowl Ad Meter.  The Always 'like a girl' commercial was the number two Super Bowl commercial. 

Moore comments on the half time show.  

HOUR TWO: 

Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell comments on the shrinking Democratic Party.  "They don't want to do the right thing, they just want to do the republican/democratic thing," Campbell says of politicians.  Campbell says payday loans "ought to be about morality."  Campbell comments on the oil and gas industry.  "He's not going to be the next president," he says of Governor Bobby Jindal, "he's going to spend the rest of his life as a lobbyist." 

"I think people as a whole like a politician to tell it like it is," Campbell says.  

William Taylor "the unofficial Saints historian" comments on the Super Bowl.  "The ending was storybook," Taylor says.  The Patriots won the Super Bowl for the 4th time in 14 years.  

Taylor discusses the stats of the Hall of Fame members.  

WEDNESDAY: Louis Herthum, William Taylor

Hour 1:

Actor/Producer & Baton Rouge native Louis Herthum on his life and thoughts on Louisiana's film tax credits.

Herthum also has some interesting thoughts on the Kennedy Assassination which he also continues to chat about into our second hour.

Halfway through Hour 2 we'll hear from William Taylor discussing the Saints...and what went wrong this season.

We also bring a little cajun this Christmas Eve with Tee Jules Cajun Night Before Christmas.
