Michael H. Cottman

Michael H. Cottman discussed his new book titled, Shackles from the Deep: Tracing Path of a Sunken Slave Ship, a Bitter Past and a Rich Legacy. Cottman is a writer and has had articles appear on CNN.com, Essence, Black Enterprise, etc. He attended Clark Atlanta University where he majored in journalism.

Glenn Frankel

 

Glenn Frankel is a journalist who began working as a reporter in 1973 after graduating from Colombia University. He worked at the Washington Post for 27 years covering international and national news. He was awarded the Knight Fellowship at Stanford University in '83. He discussed his book High Noon: The Hollywood Blacklist and the Making of American Classic on the show.

Walt Leger

Stat lawmaker Walt Leger called-in to discuss the budget and his thoughts on the decision being made with the Rainy Day Fund how much to use. He is the representative for District 91 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is Speaker pro tempore of the Louisiana House of Representatives, chosen by John Bel Edwards. 

Dan Moldea

Moldea is an investigative journalist and has reported on political corruption since 1974. He graduated from the University of Akron and worked at Kent State University post-graduation. He is the former president of Washington Independent Writers.
