Tyler Bridges and Jeremy Alford join the show to promote their book Long Shot.  This book follows the campaigns of David Vitter and John Bel Edwards in their race to become the governor of Louisiana.  Bridges and Alford join Jim to talk about the stories from the book.  They will be at Barnes and Noble on Perkins Rowe tonight for book signings.

Michael Wolf

Attorney Mike Wolf joins the show to discuss 3rd party voting, specifically Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party in this year's presidential election.  Wolf predicts that there will be more demand for a 3rd party candidate in the future.

The Advocate's Capitols news bureau editor, Mark Ballard stopped by the show to talk to Jim about the presidential election and the victory of Donald Trump.

Ben Bagert

The former senator and Democrat turned Republican joined Jim to discuss the 2016 presidential election and Donald Trump. Bagert is an attorney based in New Orleans and has been voted "Top Lawyer" in New Orleans many times in a number of fields.

Tyler Bridges

Tyler Bridges is a writer for the Baton Rouge Advocate and joined Jim to discuss the 2016 presidential race outcome and the Senate race in Louisiana. Bridges is a former reporter for the Miami Herald and the Times-Picayune.

Brett Finlay

Dr. Brett Finlay is a professor of microbiology at the University of British Colombia. He has studied microbes for over thirty years and has written hundreds of articles. He joined Jim talk about his book 'Let Them Eat Dirt: Saving Your Child from an Oversanotized World.'

Charles Boustany 

Dr. Charles Boustany a retired physician and is a Republican candidate for 2016 U.S. Senate. Boustany is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. He talked to Jim about the race and his chance of possibly becoming a United States Senator. 

Hour Two

Denny McLain

McLain is a former professional baseball player and pitcher; he most notably played for the Detroit Tigers. McLain helped lead the Tigers to their 1968 World Series victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.

Mo Isom

Mo Isom was an All-American goalkeeper for the Louisiana State University soccer team and the first female to try out for an SEC men's football team. While her life has been marked by incredible athletic successes, it has also been riddled with horrific personal adversity. Isom joins the show to talk about her book and how she overcame the adversity. 

Ethan Brown

In March of 2014, Ethan signed a deal with Scribner to write a book about the Jeff Davis 8 case; the book is Murder in the Bayou. Ethan’s book is the result of years of witness interviews and public records requests, many of which were made under Louisiana’s Public Records Act about allegations against Senate candidate Charles Boustany.

Tyler Bridges

Tyler Bridges is a freelance journalist based in New Orleans and Lima, Peru, who was twice a member of Pulitzer Prize-winning teams.  Bridges gives his opinions on whether the allegations by Ethan Brown in his book, "Murder on The Bayou" about Charles Boustany's team are true.

Mike Chittom & Joe Delpit

Mike Chittom is a Republican and Joe Delpit is a Democrat.  Delpit and Chittom dispute over who they feel is more capable of becoming the next President of the United States.
