George Wallace is the former controversial Governor of Alabama; Wallace infamously gave a speech, supporting the continued segregation of the University of Alabama. he served as governor for 16 years and then his wife for 4 years. Wallace died on September 13, 1998.

Hebert is the former Commissioner of the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control and was elected for three terms as Democrat to the Louisiana House of Representatives. Guarisco served as a Democratic State Senator from 1976-1988.
