Former WAFB anchorman George Sells and attorney Susan Nelson talked about Hurricane Irma and how they felt President Trump is handling the situation. Nelson is also a longtime political consultant and is licensed to practice law in 3 states.

Arthur Reed is coming on the show to address a comment he made about the police shooting that happened last summer and how the shooting brought "justice" to Alton Sterling.

Bill Bryan

Bill Bryan was here to discus the Italian Festival happening in Baton Rouge. The festival is held at Belle of Baton Rouge Atrium on July 30, 2017 from 11 to 5 pm.

Ali Akbar and Susan Nelson

The second hour is joined Ali Akbar and Susan Nelson. They will be debating on opposite sides about President Trump's transgender ban.

Baton Rouge U.S. Representative Garret Graves joins Jim briefly to comment of the tragic shooting in Alexandria, Virginia this morning that left multiple people wounded, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise of Jefferson Parish.

Republican Political Consultant and friend of Congressman Steve Scalise, Jason Hebert, along with Republican and former law enforcement officer Vincent Bruno chat with Jim about the character of the U.S. Representative, who is currently in critical condition after undergoing surgery.  

Hour 2:

Susan Nelson & Ben Bagert 

Former Communications Director for the Louisiana Democratic Party Susan Nelson and former Republican state lawmaker and attorney Ben Bagert discuss the Scalise shooting and how it affects America as a whole. Bagert is a relative of Scalise. The pair also comments on Jeff Sessions' testimony.

Ted Rall's book about Donald Trump, Trump: A Graphic Biography explores the little-known episodes that helped form the man who shocked the U.S. media by launching the hostile takeover of the Republican Party. He talks about Trump's cartoonish mannerisms and feels that Trump will win the election.

The Chairman of LA GOP joins the show in the beginning of the second hour to analyze both conventions over the past two weeks.  Villere projects Trump to win the state and the country.

Susan Nelson

Former Communications Director for the LA Democratic Party, Nelson joins the show in the final hour to talk about the Democratic Convention in comparison to the Republican Convention.
