Richard Marksbury is the former Dean of Tulane University; Marksbury joined the conversation on the removal of confederate statues across the nation. There is currently an initiative in New Orleans to remove the statue of Andrew Jackson from Jackson Square.

Fred Rosenfeld

Fred Rosenfeld is the former president of the old school basketball team, The New Orleans Jazz. The New Orleans Jazz became the 18th member of the NBA in 1974; the team eventually moved to Salt Lake City after 5 years in NOLA. The name "Jazz" was kept for the team in Utah.

George Morris

George Morris of The Advocate returns to the Jim Engster Show to come on air to discuss the 20th anniversary of the death of Chicago columnist, Mike Royko.

Andre Moreau

Former channel 9 anchorman Andre Moreau came on air to comment on the NFL Draft. The first round of the draft saw three LSU tigers be picked. He was a reporter-anchor at KCAL-TV in Los Angeles in 2003 and KFMB-TV  in San Diego. He won an Emmy in San Diego for covering the 08 wildfires.

Former Dean from Tulane University, Richard Marksbury will gave his take on Confederate monuments being removed in New Orleans.

Melissa Eastin with the East Baton Rouge Parish Library chats with Jim about the library's Operation Photo Rescue. The event takes place at the Goodwood Library Branch on April 21st and 22nd.
