Terry Burhans is a former weatherman and joined our guest host Leo Honeycutt, to talk about his life, his connection to Leo and his performance that will be happening at Phil Brady's Bar & Grill. His performance takes place tonight- located on Government street. 

Patrick Mulhearn

 

Patrick Mulhearn is the executive director Celtic Studios and recently announced that he will be stepping down from his position, effective on June 30 of this year. While he still has his position, he joined Leo in-studio to give updates on the film industry in Louisiana.

Robert Fenet

Baton Rouge Attorney Robert Fenet with Leo Honeycutt; gave insight into economic development oil and gas and the development of Port Cameron. He is originally a native of Lake Charles and studied law at Notre Dame Law School. 

Gifford Briggs

Gifford Briggs oversees lobbying and governmental affairs for the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association; he also manages the social media, video production and website design for the LOGA.

Jane Aslam

Muslim activist and Director of Relief Services for the Islamic Circle of North America, Jane Aslam, joins Jim in studio to discuss how Muslims from around the country are in Louisiana to help flood victims after losing everything. Aslam converted from a southern Baptist to Islam while in college. 

Patrick Mulhearn

Executive Director of Celtic Media Centre Patrick Mulhearn chats with Jim in studio about his experience during the Great Flood of 2016 and the transformation of the movie studios into an evacuee shelter. 

Hour 2: 

Garret Graves

Congressman Garret Graves joins the conversation to talk about the impact the flooding had on southern Louisiana. Graves believes Louisiana needs a tailored recovery plan for this disaster because the damage was so extreme. He gives an update on the efforts to enhance the recovery from the flooding. 

E. Eric Guirard

Attorney E. Eric Guirard discusses the recent flooding with Jim. Guirard says he looks forward to helping people as an attorney during this time regarding flood zones and coverage of their homes. Guirard's home was one of thousands flooded during the massive rain event.

F. King Alexander

LSU's President Alexander joins the show to talk about the status of the university since the flooding.  He explains that they are still looking to have move in day on Wednesday and continue with the semester.  Alexander also talks about how the flood has affected faculty and staff and he mentions TOPS.

Warren Drake

East Baton Rouge Superintendent of Schools Warren Drake assesses the damage done by flooding to schools in the community.  Drake estimates how many students  and faculty were displaced by the flood and what he and his team are doing to accommodate those students.

HOUR TWO

Patrick Mulhearn

Director of Studio Operations, Patrick Mulhearn tells the story of how the 150000 square feet of design-built stage space became home to many Baton Rouge inhabitants.

Jay Dardenne

The commissioner of Administration discusses FEMA and its involvement in the Baton Rouge flood.  Dardenne estimates how long it will take Baton Rouge to get back to normal and estimates who and how many were affected by the disaster.  

04/04 Monday: Susan Nelson, NCAA Final Four: Ronald Kellogg, Tyra Banks Sterling, Movie Production in Baton Rouge, Consultant Gus Weill

Susan Nelson

As the former Communications Director of the Democratic Party, Nelson joins Jim on the show to discuss the importance of women's votes and Donald Trump's chances of gaining their votes.

Tyra Banks Sterling is a 2016 Democratic special election candidate for District 29 of the Louisiana House of Representatives.  She joins Jim on the show to discuss her positions on higher education and our state budget.

Patrick Mulhearn

Patrick Mulhearn is the Executive Director of Celtic Studios.  He discusses the importance of the film industry as an incentive to Louisiana's tourism and economy.  Mulhearn feels that we need to create opportunities for the creative people of Louisiana.

Gus Weill

The 83 year old political consultant gives his opinion on the advancement of candidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.
