BR Blues Foundation Member Bill Bryan comes in studio to talk about the 75th birthday of Johnny Rivers and what would be the 95th birthday of Al Hirt. Bryan also comments on the anniversary of Zachary Taylor being elected as President of the United States, while he was living in Baton Rouge. Bryan is also the leader of the Louisiana Independent Party.

Mike Chittom & Victor Sachse

Republican activist Mike Chittom and Democratic Political analyst Dr. Victor Sachse join the discussion to talk politics in Louisiana and President Donald Trump. The pair also comment on the recent tragic shooting in a Texas church.

Rene Jones is a counselor and coach who focuses on helping people free themselves from comfort eating. Jones is the author of What's Really Eating You: Overcome the Triggers of Comfort Eating. She came on to discuss comfort eating and adult obesity.

James Moran

James Moran is an Associate Editor at Tiger Rag Magazine; he commented on Alex Bregman and his Twitter war with a fan. Bregman is an infielder for the Houston Astros and a former player for LSU. Bregman's Twitter war led him to delete his account.

Mike Chittom 

 

Mike Chittom commented on Donald Trump Jr. and a thread of e-mails he released about offers the Trump campaign by Russian business associates.

Mo Isom

Mo Isom was an All-American goalkeeper for the Louisiana State University soccer team and the first female to try out for an SEC men's football team. While her life has been marked by incredible athletic successes, it has also been riddled with horrific personal adversity. Isom joins the show to talk about her book and how she overcame the adversity. 

Ethan Brown

In March of 2014, Ethan signed a deal with Scribner to write a book about the Jeff Davis 8 case; the book is Murder in the Bayou. Ethan’s book is the result of years of witness interviews and public records requests, many of which were made under Louisiana’s Public Records Act about allegations against Senate candidate Charles Boustany.

Tyler Bridges is a freelance journalist based in New Orleans and Lima, Peru, who was twice a member of Pulitzer Prize-winning teams.  Bridges gives his opinions on whether the allegations by Ethan Brown in his book, "Murder on The Bayou" about Charles Boustany's team are true.

Mike Chittom & Joe Delpit

Mike Chittom is a Republican and Joe Delpit is a Democrat.  Delpit and Chittom dispute over who they feel is more capable of becoming the next President of the United States.
