Tyler Bridges & Jeremy Alford

Tyler Bridges and Jeremy Alford join the show to promote their book Long Shot.  This book follows the campaigns of David Vitter and John Bel Edwards in their race to become the governor of Louisiana.  Bridges and Alford join Jim to talk about the stories from the book.  They will be at Barnes and Noble on Perkins Rowe tonight for book signings.

Michael Wolf

Attorney Mike Wolf joins the show to discuss 3rd party voting, specifically Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party in this year's presidential election.  Wolf predicts that there will be more demand for a 3rd party candidate in the future.

At 60, Frieda Birnbaum became the oldest American to give birth.  Birnbaum has written a book, "Life Begins at 60." In the book she stresses that having IVF, first at 53, for her son now in high school, then for the twin boys, is not what defines her. 

Kristen Clarke

The president of the National Lawyers' Committee gives her assessment of what is going on in Baton Rouge.  She expresses the importance of the case and how it relates to the changes that she feels must occur in order to prevent tragedies like this.

Mike McClanahan

The President of Baton Rouge's branch of the NAACP gives his opinions on the community's attitude towards race and addresses some civil issues like police brutality.

Michael Wolf

Noel Hammatt is an independent researcher and former board member of the Baton Rouge public school board. He joins the show to talk about the bills that relate to education in Louisiana being discussed in the session.

The Louisiana Mermaid has started an online petition about the 'joke' amendment created by Jackson Rep. Kenny Havard.  Lewis talks about trafficking in Baton Rouge and wants Havard to apologize.

Michael Wolf

Attorney Michael Wolf takes an opposing view of guest Venessa Lewis on the remarks made by Rep. Havard about strippers.  Wolf expresses his reasons for feeling that the comments were blown out of proportion.

A federal judge last week ordered Apple to help investigators gain access to encrypted data on the iPhone 5c used by Syed Rizwan Farook, who with his wife, Tashfeen Malik, killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California, on Dec. 2.

Attorney Michael Wolf talks to Jim about the case and his opinions on the court's order to make Apple unlock the phone to help the government.  Wolf describes the court's order as a "contradiction of the 5th Amendment" of the Constitution.
