Mark Ballard

Mark Ballard, of the Advocate, joins Jim to discuss the first week of the legislative session. Ballard comments on Governor John Bel Edwards' proposed tax plan and how lawmakers are responding. He mentions the gasoline tax and a flat income tax. 

Melissa Eastin

Melissa Eastin with the East Baton Rouge Parish Library chats with Jim about the library's Operation Photo Rescue. The event takes place at the Goodwood Library Branch on April 21st and 22nd. Richard Marksbury

Former Dean of the School of Continuing Studies and Summer School at Tulane University, Richard Marksbury, chats with Jim about the controversy regarding the removal of Confederate monuments in New Orleans. 

Susan Jackson

Former LSU Gymnast Susan Jackson joins Jim in studio to talk about the NCAA National Championships. #2 ranked LSU is currently in St. Louis for the competition. The Tigers were runner-ups last year as the Oklahoma Sooners took home the title of champions.
