HOUR ONE

Jimmy Frederick

Jimmy Frederick is the Communications Dir. at the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.  Frederick joins the show to promote the senatorial debate CRCL is holding for six of the Louisiana Senate candidates.

Jonathan Butler

The youngest of 13 children, Butler grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, ruled by Apartheid and segregation. He made history by being the first black artist played on white South African radio while earning three gold records. Butler will be performing in St. Francisville, LA on Friday, October 7.

Jeff Palermo Joins the show in one segment to talk about Mike the Tiger and the LSU vs. Florida game.  LSU is on the hunt for a new tiger mascot; Mike's cancer has spread and veterinarians have predicted he will only live for 1-2 more months.  LSU vs. Florida game will still go on in Gainesville, Florida though the time of the game is still undecided.

HOUR TWO

John Cooksey

Jim Brown

 John Cooksey is a Representative from Louisiana born in Alexandria, Rapides Parish.  Cooksey is joined by former Sec. of State and Insurance Commissioner, Jim Brown, to discuss candidates and debates in state and national elections. 

THURSDAY: John Kennedy, Ralph Abraham, Katherine Switzer, Gene Mills, John Cooksey

Hour 1:

State Treasurer John Kennedy on his political future and thoughts on the election tomorrow.

We are then joined by Dr. Ralph Abraham, Louisiana Congressional District 5 candidate. Dr. Abraham says if he wins tomorrow he will donate his Congressional pay to St. Jude.

Then it's Katherine Switzer, the first woman to officially run in the Boston Marathon. She'll be on hand at the Baton Rouge Beach Marathon tomorrow morning.


Hour 2:

We kick off hour two with Gene Mills, head of the Louisiana Family Forum to get his thoughts on Election Day and other things.

Then it's Former Congressman John Cooksey.
