Mike Graham

Mike Graham is the former meteorologist and weatherman for WAFB. Mike Graham worked in television in Baton Rouge for more than 40 years. Graham was on the air to join the conversation surrounding Hurricane Irma.

George Sells and Susan Nelson

 

Former WAFB anchorman George Sells and attorney Susan Nelson talked about Hurricane Irma and how they felt President Trump is handling the situation. Nelson is also a longtime political consultant and is licensed to practice law in 3 states.

Jim Hock

Jim Hock talked about his book Hollywood's Team: Grit, Glamour, and the 1950's Los Angeles Rams. Hock is the son of late Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman John Hock. Jim has also served as chief of staff to the US Secretary of Commerce and was a founder of a communications firm.

Adam St. Pierre

 

Adam St.Pierre is from the East Baton Rouge Parish Library. The Library will be hosting a Game Of Thrones extravaganza tonight. The finale of the show will premiere this Sunday on August 27th. 

Stephanie Phares

Stephanie Phares has been the owner of Zeeland Street Market for 25 years. She brought her two daughters Kirby and Kelsey and talked about her business and family.

Former WAFB anchorman George Sells was in studio to comment on Hurricane Harvey, the eclipse and more. 

06/20 Tuesday: Matt Watson and George Sells

Matt Watson

Mat Watson was elected District 11 councilman in 2016. Watson is originally from Midland, MI and moved to Natchitoches to attend college at Northwestern and earn a degree BA in Social Thought.

George Sells

George Sells is the former WAFB anchor man; he followed as the second guest for hour two. He will comparing watergate to what is going on in the White House now and discussed the former governor of Alabama, Georg Wallace.

George Sells as a retired WAFB anchor and stopped by in-studio to discuss Donald Trump and his speech during the inauguration earlier this morning. 

Hour Two

Raymond Strother

Raymond Strother is a well known Democratic political consultant and is a current professor at Northwestern State University. He received his Masters from Louisiana State University and has worked with many people in high offices, including writing speeches for Bill Clinton.  He called in to discuss Trump's Inauguration speech after being sworn in as President.

President of LSU Alumni Association Cliff Vannoy joins the show with former football player Jerry Dumas to talk about the donations from alums and how much the contributions matter to the university and its students.

Jerry Dumas

Former LSU Football player, Dumas talks about LSU and Alabama football with Cliff Vannoy and reminisces on when he played for LSU.

Greg Lafleur

Greg Lafleur is running for Mayor-President. Lafleur was also a football player for LSU. He joins the show to talk about football at LSU and the issues that he feels Baton Rouge should focus on the most.

HOUR TWO

Darryl Gissel

 Gissel is running for Mayor of Baton Rouge. He joins the show to explain that running as an independent will help people of the community to move past party affiliations.

George Sells

Former WAFB anchorman George Sells joins the show to vent about numerous topics with Jim.  Sells talks football, community and politics.

Mary Stein

Mary Stein from the East Baton Rouge Parish Library promotes author Cynthia Ulrich Tobias, who will be speaking at the library Saturday at 9 a.m.
