As the regional C.E.O.  Kay gives an update on the locations of the Red Cross shelters and services available in the state.

8/3 Monday: Childhood Friend of Donald Trump, Obesity, A Louisiana Nudist Colony, and 40th Anniversary of the Superdome

HOUR ONE: 

Steven Heymsfield, M.D.

Dr. Steven Heymsfield is the Executive Director of Pennington Biomedical Center and a renowned expert on obesity.  Dr. Heymsfield is also a childhood friend of presidential hopeful Donald Trump.  He describes Donald Trump as a "rambunctious young man."  

As he goes on to discuss obesity, Dr. Heymsfield says that while women should naturally have a BMI of about 25%, men should have a BMI of about 15%.  

HOUR TWO: 

Patrick and Tracia Kraemer

Patrick and Tracia Kraemer are the heads of the only nudist colony in Louisiana, Indian Hills in Slidell. "Anywhere from 25 to 75," Patrick says of the age range of their guests, "It's mostly all about relaxing and being free, you know?" Tracia says, "It's hard to be mean when you're naked."

Bill Curl

Bill Curl worked as the public relations director of the Superdome for 33 years and retired in 2010.  He joins Jim today to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the New Orleans Superdome.
