Greg LeRoy

Executive Director of Good Jobs First Greg LeRoy joins Jim in studio to discuss if tax breaks really bring businesses to different states and the best ways to attract new companies. LeRoy also comments on labor unions. He will be speaking at the Together Louisiana Conference on Thursday in Baton Rouge. 

Buddy Roemer

Former Governor Buddy Roemer discusses with Jim the gubernatorial election that took place 30 years ago today. Governor Edwin Edwards conceded to Roemer before the runoff election. Roemer suffered a stroke three years ago.

Hour 2:

Melissa Flournoy & David Diamond

Former state lawmaker and former Director of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Melissa Flournoy and Rev. David Diamond joins the conversation in the second hour. The pair discuss President Trump and if infidelity is a sin.

Rudy Macklin

Rudy Macklin is a former LSU Basketball player.  He is also Director of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.  He shares about the fitness program. 

Flashback Friday

On this week's Flashback Friday, former Louisiana Governor and Presidential candidate Buddy Roemer comments on the Louisiana budget when he took office in 1988.  Journalist and author Leo Honeycutt comments on Roemer's history.
